Annual Report Available Now!

Date published: 25th September 2017

Following a hugely successful Open Event on 22nd September, CARF are proud to publish the 2016-17 Annual Report.

The report details the activity that the organisation has undertaken throughout the year, and also details plans for the future.

The organisation has now been a cornerstone of the Third Sector for 20 years and this was celebrated on 22nd September at the Lochgelly Centre with speakers including the newly-appointed Chief Executive at CAS, Derek Mitchell, the Minister for Social Security in Scotland, Jeane Freeman MSP and the Founder and Owner of Eden Mill distillery, Paul Miller.

Those present were treated to a number of animated videos and speeches showcasing the work of the organisation.

Norma Philpott, CEO of CARF, spoke passionately on the work of the organisation not only in the past year, but for the last 20, “It is testament to the hard work of all our staff and volunteers that we can demonstrate the amount of good we do in our communities. The Annual Report is a magnificent way to demonstrate we are more than just debt and benefits, highlighting, for example, our project work and our social policy work in particular. Whilst there are challenges ahead, most notably around the introduction of Universal Credit, we are confident that next year we will continue to provide advice and support to those who need it”.

The Annual Report itself can be downloaded here.
