How to Survive January

Date published: 8th January 2016

January is one of the most difficult months of the year and the Money Advice Service has helpfully produced a “Surviving January” toolkit to help get families and individuals through to their next income.

Christmas and New Year can be an expensive time for all and many people feel the pinch in January more than any time of the year.  This independently produced toolkit provides easy to understand information on how to make more of your money, showing how to make savings on food, how to unlock money from your home, and how to make savings by challenging your habits.

The Money Advice Service is an independent organisation set up by the UK Government in 2010 with the aim of helping people manage their money.  The Money Advice Service can help provide free, impartial advice on savings, mortgages as well as redundancy.

The “Surviving January” toolkit is brought to life with real life examples of money saving activities in practice.
