HP Laptop Battery Recall
Date published: 20th March 2019Hewlett Packard (HP) are recalling 78500 laptops due to the danger of a battery overheating and presenting a fire risk.
You may be at risk if you have a ProBook, ZBook, x360, Pavillion, ENVY, HP 11 or Mobile Thin Client model. HP will replace at risk batteries for free.
HP have published information on their website. If you have an HP laptop it’s worth checking if it is one that needs its battery replaced.
